i have an acer nitro 5 with a 4800h and I wanted to know if we can upgrad the memory to 40gb of ram if it possible to add 32gb of ram in one stick and to keep the 8gb in the first stick de laptop come with it

You can also find out max ram capacities for this laptop by installing the "Crucial® System Scanner” that will also tell you the max ram and their suggested memory types and ssd drives. If you want to add to the existing ram e.g. you have 8GB and you want to add 1x 8GB for a total of 16GB, install CPUz > SPD for your existing ram specs and match the exact specs for it to work.

I did the test and they said I can go until 64gb of ram.

So  Can I put one stick of 32gb and I keep de stick of 8gb of ram?

I think its correct.
