I have an acer aspire a515-43-91rl. I recently took a look at the bottom of my computer to get some dust out of the fan and i think i accidentally pressed the battery pin hole button a few times on accident when i was brushing it. When i turned it on, it'll say that it's on (the light turns blue) and when i plug it in, it indicates it has been plugged in. But the screen remains black. Is there anything i can do

The AN515-43 has no battery reset button underneath to reset the battery, to reset this laptops battery you need to do this:

    Battery Reset
    • Press the Power button for 12 seconds to reset the battery

Also and what I would suggest for you to do to fix this problem, as this is common with Nitro 5 laptops is do the following, take the back cover off disconnect the battery plug first and take the battery out, then disconnect the RTC (which the cmos) battery (see caption below) for 5min and then replug both batteries, reassemble the laptop and press the "Power Key" and wait until the bios resets as you will find that your laptop will boot.
