In Control Panel (appwiz.cpl) there's an entry for the Acer Driver Setup Utility (the only option is to uninstall). Checking the registry under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" it points to "C:\Program Files\Acer\Acer DriverSetupUtility". That path doesn't exist, nor is there a Start menu entry for the DSU. I don't recall explicitly removing it but apparently it's not there anymore.

Is it available on the Acer site as a separate installer or is it part of an larger meta package? Searching the site didn't turn up anything real useful (so far). How do I reinstall it?

Thanks.

appwix.cpl Control Panel's programs application that can also be opened directly from the run command instead of opening Control Panel and thumbing thru or searching the options

    . Press WIN+R. Enter 'control appwiz.cpl'

@lenphilpot you don't really need to care about that app much because I haven't found its usage nor opened that app so I just uninstalled it.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
