@yobisoft can provide your Nitro 5 model number? (Eg: AN515-XX)

@yobisoft this model can support a max of 3200MHz RAM speed. Try to use CPU-Z to check the actual RAM speed of each stick.

@yobisoft you can post the screenshots of both SPD and Memory tab here.

@yobisoft I see the problem in the SPD tab. The memory has an XMP profile which is not supported in the Nitro 5 series. If you have just bought the kit recently, immediately return that kit and get a non-XMP RAM kit.

@AnhEZ28 Please help me. I have same model AN515-57. After upgradation of RAM by Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 CT8G4SFRA32A ,my ram speed in task manager shows 2933mhz instead of 3200mhz as it was before upgradation. I checked the comparison in cpu-z (see images) with inbuilt one there is no much difference but still my dual channel ram shows speed of 2933mhz. In that I could not find SPD Ext. Please help what shall I do? how to get the same speed? will this lower speed hamper my performance very much?
    (Remark:I have attached required images)

@pratikgs I see that the CAS latency of the Crucial stick is different from the original Samsung stick. You can either return this stick and get another stick with a CAS latency of 20. Or get the same Crucial stick and sell the original one.

@AnhEZ28 no but both have CL 22 as per my check on internet. Still if that so, please help in selecting the right ram model. I could find with 3200mhz and CL20. There are model with CL22 only. What if I use both crucial sticks instead of one then will I get 3200mhz speed? is there a much difference in 2933 & 3200mhz performance wise?

@AnhEZ28   can you please tell me if this will work?  Its CL is 20 but its XMP ready, as per my search its default JEDAC is 3200mhz

@pratikgs that will not work because Nitro 5 doesn't support XMP. I suggest you get the same Crucial stick that you have bought before.

@AnhEZ28 yes, but as you told me to get CL20 ram with 3200mhz, I found this one only. Also per my info (correct me if I am wrong), there is no harm in using xmp ready ram in non supported mother board as it will run on default speed of 3200mhz as per https://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KF432S20IB_8.pdf can you please share any other ram stick in your view if you wanted to upgrade the ram? because I want to keep original ram to work with new one.

@pratikgs hmm, upon checking the specs of these sticks, they both have CL22 but have different JEDEC configurations that cannot be changed.  It is difficult to know this so I would try to get the same brand RAM stick.
