Does anyone have any experience using a microsdxc card with their Spin 5? Review and sale listing pages indicate this model should accept SD, SDHC and SDXC but Acer support say SD only and won't say if SDXC would work.  Thanks

I have a 256GB SDXC card in my SP513-54N, it works fine. I expect a 512GB or 1TB would also work fine. I just don't any to test. :)

I wonder why SDXC would be limited to 128GB when they are available in much larger sizes? 128GM is mostly useless to me, I was expecting 256 or 512

Those are the specs when the machine was first released. You can make sure you have the latest SD reader driver installed and this link. You can also download and install Driver Booster freeware to see if it might find better drivers online. Then you can try a bigger capacity that might work. But not 100% guaranteed. If it doesn't work, then if recently purchased, immediately return the machine to the vendor as not meeting your needs for a refund or exchange on another brand or model that can. Do this before the vendor's return merchandise authorization (RMA) period expires; usually only a few weeks.
