I have bought a new Charger, a Battery, 2 sticks of DDR3 ram 2GB each, a CMOS battery, and a new speaker. I've done all diagnosing & troubleshooting. removing battery. pressing and holding the power key for 1 minute. replacing a new battery and also CMOS. replacing also the RAm.. I've tried to charge the new battery to a new charger and it works. I've already cleaned it.. still no display.. but the power button light is on. CPU fan spins and stops for just a second. is the motherboard dead? anyone can assist me?. thank you in advance.

First, try to press the FN+F6 toggle key combo to turn the screen on. If nothing, do you see a TV screen if you connect it to the HDMI port? Press FN+F5 to turn the TV screen on.

There are lots of scenarios why your laptops turns on and screen is black but the first that you should check is the display cable/plug to mobo and if the cable is not damaged or the plug is not damaged at the mobo, as that is a big no no, then it could be a screen backlight, as and if one/many of its led lights is burned out, you either see no image or just a slight image. Do you see any image at all? Test screen in a dark room if there are any faint images on the screen? As if there is, then its the backlight or the old screen is completely gone? Or it could be other issues:

    1. If the cpu and the thermal module was removed then you could have bent one of the cpu pins so check that (also you need to repaste cpu/gpu)
    2. It could be that the cpu fan is faulty that is why it 'spins and stops for just a second'' as its bearings are faulty so change it
    2. Wrong incompatible new ram as this laptop runs on 2GB 204Pin PC3-8500 CL7 8c 128x8 DDR3-1066MHz SODIMM, so try to boot without ram (see the screen) or put the the old ram and see if screen works?

I don't think its your mobo as a faulty dead mobo when turned on the cpu fan does not spin and/or power comes on as its completely dead, so check all the above.
