Hi all,
I have a quite annoying issue that Apple wasn't able to help with so I am trying here.

When I connect my K222HQL monitor to my MacBook Pro, the screen has a pink hue as if a filter has been put over it.
I have already tried the following:

  • used a different HDMI cable - that is not the issue
  • connected the MacBook to a different screen - works, no pink
  • connected a Windows laptop to the monitor - works, no pink
  • messed with all display settings such as setting the resolution to scaled in various scenarios, changed color profile, refresh rate, rotation and all of that in different combinations
Does anyone have another idea that I could try? Getting a bit desperate. Thank you!!

    Hi @ TinaRuhe

    1. Reset SMC.
    2. Reset NVRAM settings.
    3. Check and reset the GPU.
    4. Fix the software incompatibility in Safe Mode.
    5. Fix kernel panic in macOS Recovery mode.
    6. Reinstall macOS to fix the pink screen issue on Mac
