I just received my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 Gaming Laptop (Model AN515-55), a couple days ago. And one problem I can not resolve is the Nvidia Control Panel not showing the Display and Video settings options. The laptop has Windows 11 and a Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card. One of the reasons I chose a laptop with a Nvidia graphics card, is because of the ability to use "Digital Vibrance" to improve the colors on Nvidia Graphics card, but these options are not showing up in the Nvidia Control Panel.
I did a search for this, and apparently this can happen when you have a conflict with Intergrated Graphics on a laptop. The intergrated graphics causes a conflict and Nvidia Control Panel doesn't show the specific options for the Nvidia graphics card. This seems to be the problem I am having, but I don't know how to fix it, and asking for help to get this to work.
A google search finds an article that mentions, quote "If you wish to edit certain settings inside the NVIDIA Control Panel but
fail to locate them since they are handled by your integrated Intel
graphics card, you can choose to simply disable the integrated card and
use the NVIDIA’s one all the time. This will resolve the problem but may
cause your laptop to have worse battery life."
I tried every solution I could find, including the one I just quoted. When I go to Device Manager and disable the Intel Intergrated Graphics on the Acer Nitro AN515-55 Laptop, it then changes the resolution to something bigger (maybe 1280x720) and it grays out the resolution option in Windows Display Settings. And it still doesn't fix the Nvidia Control Panel to display the Display and Video settings.
How do I set it, in Windows 11, that it only looks at the Nvidia RTX 3050 card on this laptop and it stops using the Intel Intergrated Graphics which is what is causing this issue?
