This is a pretty strange situation. I have a Predator Triton 500 - i7-10750H - RTX 2070 Super - 16 GB RAM - When I start the computer from a full shut down and launch a game I have very poor frame rate on pretty much any game I play. The demand of the game dictates how poor the computer performs, but it is always less than what it should be. This is with turbo mode running and everything - trying to get as good of performance out of the machine as I can. To fix this issue, I simply restart the computer and go back to whatever I was doing, and everything works perfectly as it should. Solid frame rates and so on. I feel like this has to have something to do with power management, but the computer is plugged in for the first start up, and always in performance setting, so why would a simple restart be all it takes to get it back to optimized performance. It isn't a big deal, and with SSD storage takes very little time, it is just inconvenient and strange. I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks in advance!
