Oculus quest 2 or USB 3.0 not connecting Nitro AN517-41,

Hey, I've recently bought a Nitro AN517-41, everything worked just fine, till a couple days back I also got an oculus quest 2 with the oculus link cable. And no matter what I do i can't connect it to my laptop, there's no notification sound when i connect it either, unlike other usb-a devices i've connected, I've updated all the drivers I could have (so I don't want to hear about that), i've even reinstalled my windows from 11 to 10. I know the problem isn't with the cable, sinced it worked on other laptops. Nothing's working so I'm here to ask if there's anyone with a fix for this problem, for I haven't been able to find the solution anywhere.

Since everything else seems to work just fine --- maybe --- just maybe --- you got a lemon. And I'm gonna guess that it isn't the nitro. Do you think I might've guessed right?
