Acer C731 keyboard problem.

I have several Acer C731 Chromebooks and each of one is having one type of keyboard problem of two problems. 1. type problem is that letters N- and B- don't work and the second problem is that 2,W,S and X-letter don't work. I have tried powerwash and sort of like that, reinstalling Chromeos etc. If I reinstall the keyboard wire, it may help for a moment, but not permanently. I have noticed that, if I replace working keyboard to not working keyboard, keys will work normally. But those Chromebooks have Finnish keyboards, which have letters Ä and Ö, so I need that kind of keyboards, but them don't exist. I can't find any of them. Any ideas what to do? I have about 30 Acer C731 Chromebooks and every Chrome is having the same problem.

The key combinations don't seem to match the underlying matrix used to determine which key is being pressed, so it's likely not due to the typical liquid spill getting between the membranes. Since removing and replacing the keyboard, or even the keyboard cable changes the behavior my guess is it is an issue with some type of corrosion getting into the connector. When looking at the FRU list, they have Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Nordic keyboard versions. Since Finnish is quite a bit different than Danish, Norwegian and Swedish, I'm guessing the systems you are using have the Nordic keyboard version. They don't seem to have any sort of cross reference that tells which keyboards are used for which country, unless it's really obvious. The Acer part number for the Nordic keyboard for the C731 models is: 6B.GM9N7.009. Note that, as with most modern laptops, the keyboard is integrated into the top case half, so you get the keyboard and case half both with that part number. I believe they attach the pieces together using a plastic weld, so they don't offer the keyboard alone.
What is the full model number? It looks like there are eight or nine different models with the Nordic keyboard.

Changing a new keyboard will help to the problem. Full model number is Acer C731-C7Q6 MO: N16Q13. Here is a photo of the keyboard wire.

    Hi @Castle3334,

    Check for updates yourself

    1. Turn on your Chromebook.
    2. Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi.
    3. At the bottom right, select the time.
    4. Select Settings .
    5. At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.
    6. Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.
    7. Select      Check for updates.
    8. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
