Model : Helios 300 (PH315-54)
i7-11800H
16 RAM
RTX 3070

Low frame rates when not using external monitor. Eg: Pubg with laptop screen only manage to get 60-80fps while GPU usage is at 40%, temperature is around 70 degree c.
When plug in external monitor, fps 160-200 excellent !

Ps: Laptop screen QHD 165Hz
      External screen FHD 265Hz.
      Battery percent at 100%
Windows update to latest including optional updates.
      Nvdia drive updated to latest.

Kindly advise if anyone with same model facing the same issue. Thanks

    Hi @ rageboynehneh

Basically, you will have to use the external monitor as primary and only display when plugged in which will switch off your laptop screen. Both Screens ON will drop the fps.

    1. Ensure that the system requirements are met.
    2. Change the game's graphic settings.
    3. Check if the Internet connection is running optimally.
    4. Update the GPU drivers.
    5. Disable background programs.
    6. Modify the system's power settings.
    7. Turn on the Game Mode.
    8. Scan for HDD errors.

Yes, once plugged to external monitor only use it as primary, and my laptop screen is off. Still it still didn't solve the drop in FPS using laptop screen and excellent using external monitor.

Done all the above including reinstall Nvdia driver etc ...

@rageboynehneh when you are playing on the laptop screen, do you set the resolution at FHD or QHD?
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
