Whenever i open "NVIDIA control panel>manage 3d settings>program settings" it  closes on its own. It is not a windows related issue since it was present on windows 10 and after updating to windows 11 it is still the same. I have been facing this for more than a year now and i tried every possible solution posted on internet. Also uninstalled driver using DDU and reinstalled. But still same behavior. Do any one also facing this? Is there any solution? Or is there any alternative to NVIDIA control panel?
MY laptop is triton 500 (8750h, rtx2060, updated to latest driver version)

Well, I solved this. I followed a forum on NVIDIA website and some 2 years old comments suggested that sometimes there is a folder or program shortcut that cause this issue. I put all shortcuts and folders in a single folder and relaunch nvidia control panel and it started working again. Then i kept putting shortcuts back until i find out which program shortcut causes the same crash and deleted it. You can move it to drive too.

This is very strange as nvidia control panel works perfectly and I’ve never ever had problems like you are ever in Win-10 or Win-11. See this guide “Why Nvidia Control Panel Not Opening? – How To Fix It” as this is strange.

    Hi @Imran_akhtar,

It's very likely the issue is driver-related, which means you could be using a broken or outdated graphics driver. You should always make sure your drivers are up to date as it'd help you steer clear of lots of issues.
