My Acer Nitro 5 can't even run games like Fortnite or ROBLOX properly. AC always plugged in too.
My ACER Nitro 5's specifications → [15.6" Gaming Laptop, Intel® Core™ i5, GTX 1650, 512 GB SSD, 8G RAM].
Graphics card is updated to its latest (if whatever i am even updating is the right thing).
First time I got my Acer Nitro 5 it could run games fairly well. First game I played was Minecraft Java Edition (favourite game). Easily around 65-70 fps (85 if I was lucky). 110-135 fps with something a modification called OptiFine (150-155 fps playing on multiplayer servers). Then I slowly started to realize that I was only just getting 70-100 fps (using this modification for Minecraft called OptiFine). I also noticed it was getting less smoother. Going back to the unmodified version (normal) I was getting only 20-30fps. This is when I started to realize that something was not right. My performance Laptop's performance was worsening.
Prior to that I had ROBLOX which would run pretty well but now it only gets 20 fps and it's not smooth at all. The mouse especially, does not move smoothly.
I should also mention that my storage is 272/475G, 203G free. So I am not sure if that matters. I was ROBLOX running right now and I should mention typing this right now, characters only show up at least only a second later after typing.
I should also mention I got Fortnite recently to see how well it could perform as part of this whole incident since I was told my Acer Nitro 5 can run Fortnite at 100 fps. And that does not seem like the case. Because playing Fortnite looks like to me it only gets like 5 fps. I have to play Fortnite on the lowest graphics to even make it "playable". So am I screwed or can I fix this?
