My laptop used to run 144hz but then I put it down to 60hz because I ran my laptop with an external monitor (I thought it might help with performance). Ever since, I couldn't put my laptop display back to 144hz and I cannot use the laptop as is. The laptop display only works when the laptop is plugged with an external monitor on extend, duplicate, or second screen mode, but will not work when it is on PC screen only. Whenever the display does not work it shows a black screen but with a glitching, flickering and small portion of my wallpaper at the top of the display. I have already tried factory resetting the unit but still no luck.  I am worried since I wont be able to use my laptop when there is face-to-face classes

Model: AN515-55-57XP (Bought Aug. 8, 2020)
Specs: i5-10300h, GTX 1650, and 16GB ram

@Sparkytoii try to do a power reset by turning off the laptop, unplugging the charger, holding the button for 20 secs, and powering on again.
