Hello,
My an515-53-55g9 laptop stops working, is dead the charging LEDs are off, I try to reset the battery with the button, also, I try disconnecting the battery and pushing the power button to discharge static energy, I try to turn it on with the battery disconnected, I remove the RAM and change slots, I try with a new ram, I also try with a new charger, and the laptop is dead, is does not do any bip sound or start, do nothing.
Any other suggestions on how to troubleshoot will be really appreciated.
My guess is that the motherboard is dead since I don't have a warranty anymore, is possible to buy a better motherboard with the same shape but with a better CPU and change the i5 to an i7 with a 1060gpu?

@edWINAP do you have a multimeter? If yes, you can try to measure the charging port voltage by touching two leads of the multimeter to the black and red wires that connect to the motherboard.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Power on issues are common and could be from many sources, like a battery, a dead bios battery, a faulty side charging port, a Mosat, Caps, super IO chip in the charging section of your board etc etc that all need analysing, testing or replacing by an experienced tech, you can't do it yourself as you need the proper tools. Have a look at this excellent guide from a guy called Sorin from Electronics Repair School titled “Most common fault on a Dead Laptop” as it will tell/show you the complexities of diagnosing and fixing a dead laptop.

With replacing the mobo, the Nitro AN515-52 and AN515-53 are the same, this is the list taken from their joint Acer SG guide, as both models came with an i7 cpu and with different gpu's like the, GTX-1050 and the 1050Ti and your AN515-53 i7 with the GTX-1060, all these variations will fit, well they are listed as the same for these laptops? The top i7 mobo for your AN515-53 is the i7/GTX-1060 mobo Acer part #: mNB.Q3X11.001 so try and see if you can get that mobo on the web or the other i7 mobos?

    Nitro AN515-53 or AN515-54, i5 and i7 mobos.
