battery problem Aspire 3 A315-55G-536L

 my Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G-536L Laptop; 8GB RAM, i5 10th gen core and a nvidia MX230 gpu. The battery health is poor and 100 percent lasts for only around 1 hours when it should be lasting around 5-6 hours. my friend 3 q5 model battery life is much better which is i5 8gen

    You need to calibrate your battery meter. Shut down Windows normally plugged in. When battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue it should be fully charged to 21Whr. Then turn the laptop back on still plugged in. The charge meter should read between 95-100% charged. Then unplug charger. When battery discharges to 20%  charge level, plug charger back in. You can set Windows to sound an alarm at this level to remind you to plug the charger in. Because if you have a lot of applications running near  20% charge level, then yes the battery can certainly discharge very fast and shut down quickly.

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.
    Update Battery Drivers in Windows EASILY - Driver Easy
    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically". 

    Check this T/S and post the result. ​
