Service manual for Aspire V5-471P

The owners manual says the hard drive is not user serviceable, but given that the laptop is about 8 years out of warranty and that I've replaced drives in other laptops, I want to give it a shot. But I would like to have a service manual to do things in the right order and not break anything out of ignorance. Anyone know where I can get a service manual? Has anyone actually replaced a hard drive on this particular model? Note: The V5-471P is different in significant ways from even other V5-471 models. It seems to have been a fairly limited run. I've seen videos from two different people claiming they had this machine, one person removing the drive from under the keyboard/trackpad and the other removing it from the bottom of the case.

When the manual says that the “HDD is not user serviceable” that means that you can’t fix the HDD if it goes faulty and open it but, this does not mean that you can’t replace it. What I would suggest that you do is replace this laptops mechanical 2.5” HDD with one of the latest 2.5” Samsung SSD’s as they are the best and it’s a PnP type upgrade, also do a Crucial System Scan as that will also give you the best and max capacity ram for this laptop and their 2.5" SSD upgrades drives, which all this will make your laptop 1000% quicker and more efficient to run Win-10.
