Hello everyone!

I've been using my Swift 3 for more than a year. It runs with a Ryzen 4500U APU and it's awesome! The only problem I encouraged is that sometimes computers fans spin up too loud. I've tried to lower the clock speeds to use no more than 60% of it's power, so it would keep it quiet like a premium laptops does. But there's a better workaround. Just by disabling "Boost clock" computer starts to run really quiet and cool. And I couldn't see a noticeable performance loose.

It isn't hard to disable Boost clock. Just follow the instructions bellow:

This should work with Windows 11 and Windows 10.
Editing Registry only enables important option in the Power config. Nothing else is changed.

1) Open Registry "Win + R" and "regedit" command
2) Follow the path: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7
3) Change option under name "Attributes" from "1" to "2".
4) Open Advanced power option with "Win + R" and "powercfg.cpl" command
5) Find "Change plan settings" and "Change Advanced Power Settings"
6) In Power Options window find "Processor Power Management"
7) Under it find "Processor performance boost mode"
8) Put setting to "Disabled".

Be sure and save a backup of the PowerSettings portion of the registry before making the change, so it can go back to stock if needed. Also, to do this with other power plans you change the "54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7" as appropriate.

Been using my Swift 3 with Turbo boost disabled for a week. Haven't heard a fan spin up. :)
