Acer Repair Center did not repair our new32" Acer Monitor even when Manufacturer Warranty was valid

We contacted Acer Support online and they agreed to fix our monitor for free under the warranty. The monitor was on 5 months old and it started to show straight vertical lines on the left side.
After the Acer Repair Center at Texas received our monitor, they asked $250 to pay if we want our monitor fixed. We told them the monitor was under warranty and we were told the monitor would be repaired with no cost. They declined to fix our monitor and kept asking for $250 in 3 emails and 5 phone calls.
We are done with Acer and the only Acer product we had was a laptop which we sold it on Facebook marketplace last week. Acer customer service is the worst we have experienced and will never buy Acer again.

Sorry. Did these vertical lines appear suddenly for no apparent reason?

    Hello @DanSingh

I am sorry for your experience and how you feel about your unit. I recommend reviewing the Warranty Agreement (4. Limitations and Exclusions - Pages 3 and 4) to better understand what could have caused the invalidation of the warranty. If there are any questions or divergences we recommend contact the local support for further assistance. Please select your country at this link https://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/

    Best Regards,
