    Hi @Blueboyninja8

Try to do a hard reset to check if that turns on the laptop again.

    Hard reset your Chromebook
    1. Turn off your Chromebook.
    2. Press and hold Refresh + tap Power .
    3. When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh .
Hope it will help you in some way.

I believe the N17Q8 is actually one of the CB311-9H SKUs. Those types of symptoms usually point to a confused battery. Either it's too far down or too far up in it's charge. As is typical for Chromebooks, it doesn't have a battery reset button like the Windows model have, since the ChromeOS is much less likely to get corrupted in that way. How old is your Chromebook? If it's still in warranty then go ahead and contact Acer support to get it dealt with. If you are out of warranty then you might want to take it apart enough to disconnect the battery for a while to bleed off any residual power on the motherboard, then reassemble and test.

OK, if your model is a CB311-9H as I surmise, you can open it up to disconnect the battery. Shut it down and disconnect everything from the laptop. Flip it over so you are looking at the bottom with the hinges at top. There are 12 screws holding the halves together, remove them all. Now, using something like a guitar pick of credit card, start at the upper left to pry the case halves apart. Work your way down the left side, then the bottom and on around until it's loose. Slide the bottom cover to the right and it should then lift off. From there you should be able to see the battery and it's cable that runs to the motherboard. There is likely some black tape over the connector. Peel that off and then remove the cable from the socket on the motherboard. Let it sit disconnected for a while, at least a half hour and possibly overnight, then plug the cable back in, replace the tape to help hold it in place and reassemble the case. With it all put together again, plug the charger in and wait for the blue full battery indicator light, then try turning it on.
