replacing display in acer aspire e5-575-33bm

is it possible to replace the display on acer aspire e5-575-33bm with the display off of  acer travelmate p259-m-5572? Resolution for the aspire is 1920x1080 & travelmate is 1366x768. Both laptops work fine except the display on the aspire is fubar, bunch of lines & blury colors. I also wonder if i should just use the travelmate. It does have an I5 cpu vs. I3 in aspire but it seems like the aspire is better, I don't know so I'm asking you. Thanks for any help in advance.

@jrokc check if they have the same screen screw brackets location, same display connector location, and the same number of display pins connector.
(important note is that you must disconnect the battery before working with the display. Connecting the display cable while the laptop still has power might cause a short to the motherboard.)

No problem, yes you can swap the panel but both are TN panels, why not replace the panel in Aspire with a new IPS panel, anyway, as for your main question, the answer is yes you can.

Hi,
Yes, I think you can but I need to know the model numbers of both panels, like B156....., I would  suggest you go to Device manager, expand Monitors, right click Generic PnP monitor and select Properties, move to Details tab, select Hardware IDs with the dropdown arrow and post picture like mine for both panels, so that I can compare them.

@brummyfan2  Okay i think this is what you wanted. The top photo is of the aspire. ive been using external monitor, what a pain in the ars though. the next one is travelmate
