I have this chromebook thay was purchased in Norway for my son. He is now living in the states with me again. recently the backspace button started not working sometimes. I am planning to replace the keyboard, and my question is can i replace the swedish one with a u.s. one and have it wrk right? I'm not even positive it has the same number of buttons in the same place, but hope it does, or i can replace the top half of the bottom shell too. Will this work? Thanks in advance.

Yes, the keyboards are sold as an assembly with the top case and the US/International layout is Acer part number: 6B.GHPN7.028. Search on that to find the cost and vendor...
