    Congrats. Thanks for reporting back. Speed is as expected as per the four pin m.2 socket.

    It should be compatible if your m.2 socket has a single M-key bump as shown below. You must check this because some mainboards might be equipped with the older double B+M key bump sockets. It should run at least twice as fast as a m.2 SATA card.

    The link width suggests that it may even run at 4x SATA speed. Please let us know. Thanks.  :)

    Yes, an NVME should fit and work fine in the socket.

    However, the socket has only 4 pins to the right of the M-key. This suggests an NVME will run at about 2X SATA speeds. Most NVMEs nowadays have one extra pin contact on the right edge to achieve 4X SATA speeds. It will be interesting to see what speeds you actually get. Good luck! :)

    @AG_94 and @JackE

    I am curious too. Since HWINF64 reported x4 Link Width and the M.2 slot picture provided by @AG_94 seemed to indicated only 4-pin at narrower side (I believe I saw 4-pins there). It will be interesting to see if the M.2 NVMe will run at x2 or x4 speed.

    Please let us know how it turn out.

    Hi,
    I have successfully installed  the NVME SSD (Corsair Force MP510 )
    but seems to read speed reduced by 2x as product specification have 3480 Mb/s read speed

    Thank you for reporting the results.

    Now I know 4-pin at the narrower side of M.2 slopt prevail, disregarding the report of 4x link width.
