aspire 5 Reset to factory settings , wont reboot

my aspire 5 after attempting to reset to factory setting, it will only reboot to option to select windows 10 which is listed twice, but just loops back to same screen whichever i select, and F2 boot menu doesnt allow me to do anything else

    Answer ✓
    (1) Press and hold power key to laptop shuts off. Then go back into the BIOS menu with F2 on startup.
    (2) Then press F9 key to load BIOS defaults.
    (3) Then make sure F12 and D2D options are both enabled in the BIOS Main tab.
    (4) Then press F10 to save settings and exit the BIOS menu
    (5) Then press and hold power button again to turn laptop off
    (7) Turn laptop on and IMMEDIATELY press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key.
    (8) A recovery screen should appear that resembles the original reset that you might've used
    (9) Choose  to do an erase everything factory reset
