Hello everyone

I installed KDE Neon in my Acer Nitro 5 however when I turn on the laptop I need to press F12 to select Windows or Linux and this is a little tired. I've tried to access the bios to change the boot order, but unfortunately, I can't because it's stuck with the Acer logo. I also have tried to access the bios in settings>Repair>UEFI settings but is the same issue. Can you help me with this issue?

Thanks a lot!

    Hi @ xdanny7x

Power the system on and quickly press the “F2” button until you see the BIOS setting menu.

I did that a lot of times and didn't work!

If the motherboard or the CPU's power connector is plugged in wrong or faulty, you won't be able to boot to BIOS. The motherboard has a 24-pin connector, so make sure it's plugged tightly in the right place, and there are no signs of damage on the cable itself. The CPU usually has an eight-pin connector in a 4+4 shape.
