First this is a symptom that happens in Win-10 and its common on allot of laptops of different manufacturers. First make sure that you have the latest Intel drivers and graphics drivers installed and that includes the NVIDIA graphics drivers, as this should not be happening on your Predator PT315-51 if all these drivers are up to date.

If its still happening its because the two graphics are conflicting at boot and the system searches for the appropriate boot graphics that it can boot with, hence the black screen and the 2 min delay. What you have to do is edit the registry and do the following (see this YouTube guide).

Warning editing the registry could damage your OS and make it unusable, so and if you don't know what you are doing? Get an experienced tech to do this for you, as I take no responsibility for any mistakes that you make.

    1. Go to Windows Search type in regedit > Run as administrator

    2. Open the Edit Tab and click Find

    3. Type in “EnableULPS” and click find

    4. Once its found, double click on “EnableULPS” and change the value from “1” to “0” (0 means disable)

    5. Then go to Edit Tab and use the “Find Next” as will search for the other “EnableULPS” and then do the same >  change the value from “1” to “0” (0 means disable) and keep doing the “Edit Tab and use the “Find Next” until all the “EnableULPS” are all at “1”

    6. Then Reboot the laptop as this should fix thie delayed balck screen boot problem.
