I bought some ram on Amazon (Acer brand) that was advertised as {Acer SD100 16GB Single RAM 2666 MHz DDR4 CL19 1.2V Laptop Computer Memory - BL.9BWWA.210} However when it arrived the actual product has no listing of the DDR4 anywhere. It only says (16GB 1R*8PC4 2666 CL19 NB,  SD100, SO-DIMM,  Acer part# BL98WWA.210,
Is the 1R*8PC4 the same (or compatible) with a Laptop that calls for DDR4? (with compatible speed and CL)

(Thread was edited to add model name to the title)

@RB28 PC4 also means DDR4. It should be compatible.

Oh sorry, it's Aspire 5, A515-46-R14K, but really was more interested if a generic relevance to the separate designations of Ram. I.e. are they both generic or would this situation be proprietary ambiguous to the buyer?  (With 1R*8PC4 only on product and DDR4 on sales ad)
Most every designation of Ram required by a unit and/or sold has the DDR4 designation. So I was apprehensive to see the product arrive with something other than the DDR4 on the sales ad.
