Before updating the BIOS, the keyboard backlighting was blue after booting the Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH315-53) laptop, but after updating to version 2.04 it changed to white. The blue backlight turns on after logging in, and changing the settings in PredatorSense does not affect the white color at startup.

Usually these startup boot colors are pre-programmed as a default into the BIOS firmware until the operating system takes over the main boot process.

Any user option to change the startup color would be revealed in the BIOS Main tab by pressing Ctrl+S if it is a hidden option.

Otherwise, changing the startup color from white to another color would either require an undocumented BIOS modification or re-installing the earlier BIOS which both carry significant risk of bricking the machine. Neither are recommended.
