Hey Folks!
I have Predator Helios 300 from past almost 2 years, recently when I serviced my laptop for cleaning dust from then whenever I extend the screen according to the required angle at some point the screen blacks out but and as soon as I retract it the display just works fine.
So what's wrong with it?
Do I need to replace the screen or it is just some loose contact?

Screen seems OK. Seems more like a loose LCD video cable connector at the mainboard and/or at the base of the screen behind its bezel. Another possibility is intermittent breaks in the cable conductors in the hinge area almost always due to wear and tear of opening/closing the lid too much. New replaceme nt LCD cables are usually under $25usd. Not a serious issue except for having to open it up again. :) Simply google search your full model number --- for example PH315-54 --- and video cable for vendors who ship to your location.

Since video cables are so cheap, I'd probably throw a new one in there while I had the thing apart. Good luck.  :)
