"Fn" Hotkey Control For Screen Brightness not working on My Acer Aspire E5 521

Hello all,
On my Acer  E5 521 laptop the arrow keys as hotkeys (Fn + up and  down) for volume control works fine, however the  "Left" and "Right" arrow  keys  does  not adjust brightness while depressing the Fn key.
WHAT I TRIED :
I have searched the forum for answers for  ex;  a post  of August 2017 by member SDG81 has the exact issue.
I DL and run CPU-Z,  my processor  name  is  AMD E2 - 6110 and  the code  name  is Mullins
I have also DL  "Virtual Buttons_Intel_1.1.0.21_W10x64_A (1).zip" and BIOS_Acer_1.09_A_A  files, however  when trying to install the  virtual  buttons an error  comes  up saying  my "PC does  not  meet the  minimum requirements to  install" and the  BIOS install error says  "computer  name error"
Looking forward  for assistance  to have this problem solved  thank you all in advance.

@vvmahabs try to reinstall the Graphics driver from here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/5401?b=1
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.

Thank you for  the  prompt response, I have done as you suggested, I downloaded and installed  the  VGA drivers from the  link, however, problem is the same as  before ; volume control works  but not  brightness  control.

In addition to  updating the  display drivers   the  monitor drivers had to be updated also.
From device  manager  I had to update PnP-Monitor Lock (Standard) drivers with  Generic PnP Monitor drivers,   that fixed  my problem now I am  able to adjust screen brightness using Fn+ left  or  right arrow.
I wish to  thank very  much AnhEZ28 who guided  and  advised  me through with this  issue.
