How to switch off / disable the blue power indicator on the Acer Predator Triton 300

The blue power indicator led on my Acer Predator Triton 300 SE is front facing:

This is very annoying, especially in dark or low lighting conditions: it's like having a laser constantly pointed to your eyes. Is there a way to permanently disable it?

    Hi @krige,

    It indicates that the unit is powered ON. You can't disable it.

    When I am using the computer the screen being on is already an indicator that the computer is on, no need to point a laser to my eyes to constantly remind me about that. They could have put the led on the side or at least make it dimmer for the 0.01% of the times that the screen is black and I want to know if the device is on.
