After installation I rebooted, but it goes into a loop : starting Acerlogo is coming up with Reset system up in left corner. I have tried to go into boot set up and setting up boot set up with "EFI File Boot 0: ubuntu" as first priority as I found in a ansver in a question "

EFI dual boot not seeing Linux on Nitro 5 AN515-51-78C6 , from may 2018.

Still the loop coming up when rebooting.

What does an F12 boot  (enable in BIOS, press during boot) show as choices. The BIOS list just shows the hardware, F12 show what it considers bootable.

I looked at my bios and found it is a version V1.11 . Can that be the issue. If so, howe to upgrade my BIOS?

OK, do you have an AN515-51 or a ES1-531? You state one in the first message and another in the title. I need to look into what's displayed in the BIOS on your unit...
