My Aspire 5 is 2years and 15 days old so just out of warranty. The hard drive completely failed. I used my laptop maybe once or twice a week and I felt failure at this point is more of a hardware sub standard issue and not due to use or power surge etc. The computer was off when I was done and only connected and on when I used it to check my online things. Is this a normal thing for these computers? Very disappointing and I could never talk to anyone at ACER since it was days out of warranty - just kept putting me into the you tube or fee based support. Frustrated for sure. Can't even recommend ACER with this happening. Up to now I was fine thinking this was a good last a long time things given my low usage. Not any more. Anyone else having this issue?
