Is the fan speed on NitroSense accurate (AN515-54)?

So when I turn the fan speed up to max it'll show 6000 RPM on NitroSense. Is it possible that the fan doesn't spin nearly as fast? Because recently I had a technician do a service on my laptop and I remember at MAX SPEED/6000 RPM, the air felt much stronger when I put my hand on it before he serviced it.

If it's not possible then it's just my hallucination.

@ynwa1227 sorry for the late reply. I tried stopping the fan when the fan speed is selected max and Nitrosense showed 0RPM. So it is impossible to show the wrong speed.

@ynwa1227 just for approximation. Sometimes it jumps up to 5888RPM or 6122RPM

@ynwa1227 so can you rephrase your question once more time?

Well..I know if it's 'accurate' then when NitroSense shows that the fan RPM is 6000, it would only be approximation but it's near that number..But I'm asking is it possible for NitroSense to show 6000 RPM but the actual speed physically would only be 2000/3000 RPM or something like that
