Hi, I have a new Aspire 5 515-56G, updated with Windows11. Acer support page lists 24 driver and 6 bios/firmware downloads but should I download them all or only some. As a fairly novice computer user any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

No, you do not need to install all drivers from the site. Most device drivers are already automatically installed by Windows on your machine. In case a driver does not work, you can install it from this page. You don't need to update the BIOS if your system works fine. Otherwise use the latest BIOS version.

    Hi,
You don't have to update drivers or BIOS if you don't have any issues at the moment.

Just a word of advice as I've got the AN515-56 also with Win-11 running from an upgrade from Win-10, which didn’t work and needed to be "Clean Installed" or if you do a "Reset" then do a complete reset and don't keep anything from Win-10 as Win-11 is a pain and has allot of bugs with anything kept from Win-10, my Win-11 works 100% now after I realised all this and did a complete clean deleted hdd install.

Also make sure that and if you use Bluetooth headphones? That you change the automatically installed Win-11 BT driver to the Acer OEM BT driver version 22.40.0.2 and NOT run the Win-11 installed BT driver version 22.110.1.1 as this driver does not work with most BT headphones but the Acer OEM driver works 100% so, you need to have 2 different Intel drivers for BT (version 22.40.0.2) and for Wi-Fi which is the automatically installed Intel version 22.110.1.1. Also the bios update makes no difference to performance but I've updated it anyway and everything works just fine.
