Acer Nitro AN515-45 (RTX3080) low fps

Hello everyone, 
I've had this laptop (Nitro AN 515-45) for 2 months now, and I'm just now starting to question whether it's an incorrect assumption of mine that for its specs, my acer nitro is underperforming.

- AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
- RAM 16GB (1×16) DDR4
- 1TB WD SSD
- Nvidia RTX 3080 Laptop (8GB) 
- 165hz Display WQHD

I'm mostly an Apex Legends player, and I've noticed a few things while playing which I'm pretty sure are not supposed to happen:

- At MAX settings, I'm always hovering around 70-100 fps (pretty low compared to other friends of mine with slightly different builds but same graphic card)
- Trying to lower the settings from those causes the FPS to become even more unstable, while the game starts to stutter like crazy

I've tried to see if I could fix this in some way or the other, unsuccessfully. Here's what I've tried:

- Bought a cooling pad to lower temperature
- Set High Performance on NitroSense 
- Choose Nvidia Graphic Card (High Performance) on the Nvidia Control Panel
- Uninstalled, Re-installed Nvidia Drivers 
- Turned Off Windows Game settings
- set game quality from 2k to 1080p


What else can I try to do to fix it? I wouldn't even care that much if 100 fps is its top performance at max settings, but what is causing the crazy stutters whenever I try to lower the game's settings?

IMO, you have done everything that you can as a consumer to make your laptop perform at its best and peak performance, if you are worried about this and your laptop is under warranty don't open it or touch it and consult Acer Support with this problem!

Your Acer Nitro AN515-45 with the Ryzen 7 5800H and the RTX3080 is a top spec gaming laptop, maybe increase the RAM to 64GB (do a Crucial System Scan as that is their max ram for this laptop) as that would help with fps also, don't run the fan on "High performance" as I found that does nothing and accounts for increased temps, also and what you have to remember is this, that irrespective of any settings that you do, high end gaming laptops are not like high end or even mid-range desktops as their biggest enemy is HEAT and HEAT dispersion so check that while playing "Apex Legends" and hard demanding games as fps are always related to your cpu/gpu heating up and the laptops inability to disperses this heat quickly enough and PS issues at high gaming, which is something that you can’t fix like in a desktop where you can have top rated PSU's and also water cooling of the cpu/gpu, liquid hydrogen cooling, case cooling etc etc and go to those extremes in dispersing cpu/gpu heat.

Try to repase the cpu/gpu with the Conductonaut liquid metal thermal compound which will reduce temps considerably compared to normal high end paste and is designed for applications that require very high efficiency. Conductonaut is recommended for experienced users who are looking for a top performance product with best heat dissipation where temperature ranges are above 8 °C. but and be WARNED that pasting with LMP is a specialist job as putting too much paste onto the cpu/gpu will cause critical damage to surrounding circuitries of your motherboard if the excessive paste spills that will damage your motherboard and laptop.
