Hey Max12a the screen does not go black for no reason in you AN515-57 especially if its new, btw, I have an AN515-56 that runs on Win-11 from Win-10 and I've done many installs of graphics drivers and what I’m suggesting to you works 100% and perfectly. Also do not open the laptop and/or do anything internally to your new AN515-57 as it will void your warranty, so if my below guides don’t work, send your laptop back to Acer and get Acer Support to fix your laptop. As and if the nvidia driver is faulty and does not work? Then windows has a generic driver for the nvidia gpu to work and not give you a "Black Screen".

What I suggest for you to do is this, first uninstall the nvidia driver completely with this proven software (btw this software works 100% for nvidia graphics drivers and audio drivers and AMD drivers also) its the Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.4.9 also make sure that you have the last Intel integrated graphics driver for the i7-11800H Intel® UHD Graphics for 11th Gen Intel® Processors installed. Try all that because you must have a graphics driver that is corruot and faulty and is causing your problems. If this does not work then there is something wrong with your nvidia gpu which means that Acer Support will have to change the motherboard as you cant fix/change the gpu on the AN515-57.
