Acer Swift SF314-42 - charging problem

Hello!

My laptop charges up to 40-65% without any problem, and then it doesn't go any further, and the battery LED starts flashing orange. The LED no longer shows blue. When I unplug the power cord and plug it back in, it starts to charge again, but after less than a minute it stops again and the LED starts flashing.

I am looking for a solution and when I opened the battery settings, I saw a message that the laptop is using more power than usual because the brightness is set to maximum.

Unfortunately I don't have the option to change the brightness. This option doesn't appear in the settings. The F3 and F4 buttons don't change the brightness either. I don't know if it has anything to do with this charging problem.

I don't know if it is a short circuit in the laptop, a battery problem, or some other problem?

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

@fixmin do a battery calibration by using it until the battery dies and then recharges it. For the brightness situation, https://www.amd.com/en/support
go to that website and use the auto-install to reinstall the display driver.
