Hello. I have old (but still worthy) aspire v3-772g-747a8G75Makk and need to replace its screen. Currently it has 1600*900 TN (30 pin edp connector) and I want to put full hd. I found dell screen on ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/203121474155). So question is can I replace 1600*900 with full hd one and if yes will this dell screen work? (it is 30 pin edp aswell)

The laptop and cable should support both one & two lane screens requirements.

While it is preferrable to use the recommended FHD for your model, it should work if it's physical dimension to not exceed the specs shown below. A secondary concern would be the active area since the bezel size for other laptops might be different. Brand new FHD screens that are correct for your ACER  laptop (N173HGE-E11) ) are less than $80usd so you might want to consider an ACER FHD instead of one made for another laptop manufacturer.

@JackE, thanks. So if I buy N173HGE-E11 full hd panel it should work without issues? I've read ebout eDP lanes - full hd screens have 2 lanes and my current 1600*900 has one lane. Idk if my laptop can support 2 lane eDP signal
