How do I boot N17-54 laptop from sata drive?

The laptop is a nitro5 N17-54
There are 2 nvme slots and one SATA bay.
It is equipped with one nvme drive with Windows 11 installed.

I have added a SATA ssd drive which is seen by the bios and accessible from windows 11.  The drive has a bootable Windows 10 installation on it.  However, this drive does not appear in the boot menu (seen by F12 during boot or the bios boot tab)
The only boot option shown is "Windows Boot Manager".
How do I get the system to see the SATA drive in the boot menu?

@nitro5mmv is that drive formated as GPT and has EFI partition (by looking at the disk management)?

@nitro5mmv so you will need to change it to GPT format. In order to switch it without losing data, use Minitool Partition Wizard and convert to GPT for that drive.
Do these steps if you don't have the EFI partition: https://www.diskpart.com/windows-10/missing-efi-partition-windows-10.html
Check method 2 and skip step 1.

  • I advise you to backup the files that are on that drive that contains windows 10. Then reinstall windows 10 on that disk, deleting all partitions, after the disk is already connected to the laptop.

Can the drive be converted to gpt using window's mbr2gpt tool and retain data ?
