I have predator Helios 300 laptop (i7-11800H-16gb ram-rtx3060). I have recently noticed that FPS of games that I play are gradually falling (same settings). Also noticed today that CPU/GPU temperature are ok but system temperature is relatively higher and hence my laptop is pretty hot to touch. (CPU 50s; GPU 40s; System 85+) Any suggestions on what’s happening here and what can I do to mitigate this?

give the fans a blast of air to see if it is dust, and the other thing which helps a load is to have it on a stand rather than flat so the intakes and general chassis can get more air :)

    Solution :

    1. Disable Ethernet Controller from Device Manager
    2. Disable Fast Startup from Registry (or restart computer instead of Shutdown)

System Temperature will drop 45 degree celcius when it is idle..

    Hi @ishqkijiye3321,

    1. Turn you fan to Max rpm for better cooling.
    2. Try not to play on bed or any surface like that. ...
    3. Try not to overclock your GPU because you will get little bump in performance like 2–4fps but the heat output will be very high.
    4. Try to undervolt your CPU.
