Hey I have an ACER Nitro 5 (AN515-57-529M) and cant find the manual for it anywhere.
I was checking if my USB-C input supports a USB hub with an HDMI cable so I can connect a second monitor.
If this is not possible, is there any way I can connect a second monitor?

@Dypect check if the type-c port has the thunderbolt symbol. If yes, you can connect the second external monitor.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Basic marketing 101, if acer doesn't advertise (in giant font) your laptop to have USB-C DisplayPort alt mode, then you don't have it.

This is your AN515-57 USB specs: USB 3.1 information, also look at this guide "USB 3.1 Gen 2 vs. USB 3.1 Gen 1: How Are They Different?"
    • USB 3.1 Gen 1 compatible ports are blue.
    • Compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1 and earlier devices.
    • For optimal performance, use USB 3.1 Gen 1-certified devices.
    • Defined by the USB 3.1 Gen 1 specification (SuperSpeed USB).

There are many regional variants of AN515-57, mine is also AN515-57 with 5620 model number. (I expect to that this one is Thunderbolt capable, yet finding out that it is not.)

Yes the Manual could be deceiving, but look on the actual unit itself.

On the "left side of the Type-C port," if you find the Thunderbolt logo (looks like a Lightning) then its a Thunderbolt port.

But if you  just find a regular USB logo, then it is just a regular Type-C port.

    Hope it helps.

I connect the adapter to convert usb c to HDMI. It works on FHD 1080p at 60Hz.
