My AN515-54-728C Stopped working after replacing the monitor.

Since a month ago I broke my screen and have been using my 2nd monitor. I recently purchased a screen replacement from laptopscreen.com, after it arriving to my house. I then unplugged the battery to make sure I wont break anything in my nitro 5, then replaced the monitor with the replacement. But after that, it did not work anymore. One time it showed a blue indicator which is located on the side, but after pressing the power button the blue light turned off and after that it never showed up again. I've tried removing the battery and pressing the power button for more than a minute and still did not work.

You must have installed the new screen wrongly or caused some damage? Don't forget that these screens are very fragile and can break easily and/or your LCD cable coming from the mobo could be damaged also and why your OEM screen stopped working? There are allot of variables that could be at play for your screen not to work, so check the screen if its not cracked and/or damaged (also it could be that you got a faulty new screen?) so go through all your installation steps and check every component/cable if its connected properly and not damaged, as an LCD screen replacement is a simple thing to do if every component is working and cables are ok and connected properly.

What Nitro 5 model do you have, exact model number like AN515-xx? Try to disconnect the power adaptor, then hold the power key for only 10 sec and then try to power it on battery only and see if it boots? If not put back the power adaptor (make sure that the adaptors plug clicks and its plugged in properly) and try to reboot. If all that doesn't work then you must have an internal power board fault that governs the charging and power ON/OFF of your laptop that has circuitry components burned out or shorted as that can easily happen when opening a laptop and you don't use a static arm band and static can damage circuitry components. Take your laptop to an experienced tech that has the tools and the experience in diagnosing and replacing micro circuitry components as you have done all that a consumer can do and anything else needs an expert to fix.

I had the AN515-54. I did that and it showed a blue light in the side but after powering it on it disappeared with no signs of life.
