Does Aspire 5 A515-51G support HDMI to dp?

I have Aspire A515-51G-UW
It has only HDMI and type c port and not dp, my monitor has dp support can I take.advantage of dp by using a HDMI to dp passive convertor? Will my laptop support dp through HDMI port?

    Sorry no. It's an ordinary v1.4b signal output that doesn't natively support dp signal output. You'd need an active HDMI-to-DP signal converter which usually have relatively low refresh rates.

    Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, Ethernet and it comes with 4 USB ports (2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type C)), HDMI Port, Multi Card Slot, Lock Slot, Mic In, RJ45 (LAN) ports.

    What if i have access to internal edp, would there be any way for a cable like edp to dp

    Google search 'edp to dp adapter' for vendors who ship to your location.
