SF314-42 doesn't wake up from sleep mode

The title says it all. Multiple topics about it. None working, paid a lot of money for a broken product, expecting an WORKING product.

But if something as simple as waking up after sleep mode doesnt work... its pathetic.. so everytime I have to restart and LOSE all my fkn work and states?

Hardware changes? None.

Issue? WSL2 ofcourse, but do you expect an software engineer to limit his work because your incompetence, Acer?

So Acer made an laptop for $1000 that cant work with Docker? What are the steps to fix this?

I already had to fix an issue with multiple monitors on this laptop, Acer Swift 3, I guess the incompetence is not just in 1 area.. next time I wont be buying Acer.. these are basic working functionality expected from an minimum decent laptop (multiple screens, waking up after sleep). If you expect me to spend time on it to fix your issues, I expect payment for my time.

It worked, but why thou? arent hibernate and sleep 2 different functionalities? How can they interfere with each other in such a stupid way?

Glad that its not a total disaster.. I use sleep, a lot..

Theoretically yes. But practically every WinVer since Win7 is half-baked. Fast startup mode --- which involves hibernation mode --- sometimes makes sleep mode go into hibernation. Hibernation requires a re-boot. But hiberfil.sys file isn't written to disk from sleep mode. So you wind up losing everything on a re-boot. Sometimes, turning off fast startup in Control Panel's power button app will also resolve the sleep-to-hibernation issue.
