Hi, anyone experiencing NVME not detected during fresh windows install on Travelmate TMP214-53 ? I've checked on BIOS the NVME is detected, and the craziest part is it's Acer factory NVME not user installed one :(

Look there are allot of bugs and crazy things going on with Win-11, you are lucky that you got that far with a USB install :D as I couldn't do a clean install from a USB at all, it never booted into the USB or detect the boot Win-11 USB. I'm not amazed by anything that happens with Win-11 and what I suggest that you do is first go into BIOS and set all settings to default and Exit then see if the Win-11 installation detects the NVMe M.2? If it doesn't then try to installing Win-11 with an .ISO file liker I did but you will need Win-10 to be able to do that.

Btw, I've also had allot of problems with Win-11 like and suddenly turning Off after 5 min issues, not installing previous old software and just rebooting all of a sudden in the middle of the installation process, Bluetooth driver problems and this is all with a brand new Nitro AN515-56 that I've had to reset 3 times and especially with this Intel AX1650i 160MHz Wi-Fi/BT card with the Win-11 default BT version 22.110.2.1 driver that made my JBL LIVE650BTNC headphones impossible to be detected, when the Acer OEM Win-10 BT old driver 22.40.0.2 worked 100% and perfectly! Lucky that I had previous experience with BT's and what to do as the only fix is to edit the registry so if anybody has the same problem this is the fix:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WindowsNT > CurrentVersion and change the Win-11 default setting of 6.3 of the Current Version feature to 6.2,
So you can see how crazy things are with Win-11 as its typical of Microsoft with their new OS's as we are their guinea pigs, as normal consumers would just send these laptop back so it must be crazy and lucky for forums like Acer community. Good luck and don't stress as there is always a solution :D

    Hi,
Go to Acer support site and download IRST driver(version 18.0.0.1135), extract it and copy the extracted folder to the USB installation disk, in the Windows setup, click load driver as shown in my snip, select IRST driver folder and install the driver, now you will be able to install Windows.

You expect direct links to older versions of drivers to no longer work when the new versions are released. That is why we typically tell users to go to the support site, enter their model number and choose from the current set of drivers rather than giving a direct link. Also direct links can easily be in the wrong language.
