My new PC can't connect to my router's 5GHz Access Point. My other devices (even 2017's Predator connects successfully). What should I do?

Open Device Manager. Click network adapters. Right click properties on wifi. Click advanced tab. Click preferred band. Change preferred band to 5GHz. Reboot
That didn't work for me. So I kept uninstalling Wi-Fi driver to the oldest available within Device Manager and in that, 5GHz works nicely.
