Hi,
Recently, I hopped on to my laptop and noticed the wifi was off. Not only that but the wifi couldn't detect any networks either. I looked over at Device Manager and found a couple things:
- Firmware was giving an error code 10 with a message saying it was a bad image. This was resolved by uninstalling and installing the BIOS drivers from the manufacturer's website.
- Under network adapters, Intel Wifi 6 AX201 was giving an error code of 10/43.
- Under USB controllers, there was Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). This was also giving an error code of 10/43.
I tried quite literally everything I could find on the internet and forums. This included disabling/enabling drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers from corresponding manufacturers, draining battery, etc.
What worked at last was resetting the battery through the pinhole at the back of my laptop and resetting my network settings through Windows troubleshooter. But even then, I have to keep my Bluetooth turned off. As a result, I cannot connect any devices via Bluetooth. I have tried using only 5GHz wifi on my laptop, but that hasn't worked either.
What would be the source of my issue? How can I go about resolving this? I feel like this is a hardware issue.
