Hi Guys,

my laptop - just over a month old is having issues where randomly closes apps or freezes, I have tried the following but to no avail

can someone help

ts completed

game crashing

Games and applications keep crashing

ts completed
-formatted but kept files (bare in mind pc is less than a month old)

-reinstalled game services - steam , epic etc

-adjusted nvidea control centre options as per youtube instructions

-doesnt matter about game quality as it happens on normal or high

-checked for system updates (none needed)

-tried updating bios - bios is newest

-tried updating gpu driver - installed

-ran ccleaner to fix issues

-ran malwarebytes to see if there was malware

-amended system memory which could be allocated
-reinstalled gpu driver through website rather than geforce experience

-crash dump shows following
VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116) - The VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE bug check has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

-adjusted virtual memory -Control Panel > System > Advanced Settings > Performance via -Control Panel > System > Advanced Settings > Performance.
